Mount Arlington New Jersey Theft and Fraud Lawyers

In New Jersey, the state determines the severity of theft or fraud charges by calculating the value of the stolen property and the amount of force that was used in the theft. This calculation creates a sliding scale, allowing for a wide range of penalties (i.e. fines, jail time, etc.). The attorneys of the Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall will aggressively defend you as we seek to get your charges reduced or dismissed in order to minimize your consequences.

Shoplifting has become an increasing problem in New Jersey and creates important issues for “non-citizens” as immigration considers a shoplifting offense a crime of moral terpitude. If you or someone you love has been charged with a shoplifting offense or another theft offense in Morris County, contact our offices for a free initial consultation at (973)971-0030.
