Netcong NJ Burglary and Theft Attorneys
According to New Jersey law, burglary is typically treated as a third degree offense, and can carry a 3-5 year prison sentence if convicted. However, if you have no prior criminal history, a probationary sentence is possible. You may also be eligible for New Jersey's Pre-Trial Intervention (PTI) program.
In New Jersey, the state determines the severity of theft or fraud charges by calculating the value of the stolen property and the amount of force that was used in the theft. This calculation creates a sliding scale, allowing for a wide range of penalties. The attorneys of the Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall will aggressively defend you as we seek to get your charges reduced or dismissed in order to minimize your consequences.
